The Fish: Bulacan, Philippines; Silly, mischievous and cheerful --- love conversations that move, learning something from every person I meet, honesty, nonsensical laughter, playing tennis just before the rain falls on a stormy day, sweat and endorphin rush, open spaces,Guinness stout with Mexican food, my five senses, Jesus Christ and the deep blue sea, the realization that life is greater than my own misery, d’yer mak’r under starlit skies, an ice cold corona with lime, crashing waves, sulu lamps, oysters and red crabs, a state called flow, sea urchins and raspberry beer, whale sharks in sorsogon, touching a tarsier for the first time. Water elemental. Wanting to be. Daring to play life as the most extreme game of all.
